Jimmy Carter Turns 91 Today
Happy birthday to one of Georgia's favorite native sons.

Former president Jimmy Carter turned 91 on Thursday.

Carter, arguably one of the most active ex-presidents in recent memory, recently was diagnosed with cancer and is undergoing treatment.
The AJC reports that Carter is marking today with family and friends. However, admission to the Carter Center is reduced to 91 cents all day. There will also be a special drawing for a signed copy of Carter’s book, ”Keeping Faith.”

And if you bring a birthday card, the staff says they’ll make sure the 39th president of the United States sees it.
