Georgia News: Police in Jefferson say they have no leads on the theft of the exotic animal, who has been missing for about a month.
JEFFERSON, GA -- A Georgia pet shop owner is heartbroken after someone broke into her store last month and stole her personal ring-tailed lemur, according to a report.
Police in Jefferson, which is between Athens and Gainesville, have yet to get any leads on the weeks-old theft, WSB-TV reports. The 5-year-old lemur, named Rascal, was not for sale and had been cared for by the owner of the pet shop since he was four weeks old.
