- The City of Smyrna closed a portion of Austin Drive SE on Friday for hazardous tree removal. The closure was between North Cooper Lake Road SE and Cherrydale Lane SE. The Austin Drive SE portion was reopened around noon. (City of Smyrna)
- From Dec. 19 through Dec. 29, the Smyrna Public Library will be altering operation hours. The library will be closing at 6:00 p.m. from Dec. 19 through Dec. 22 and from Dec. 27 through Dec. 29. The library will be closed from Dec. 23 through Dec. 26. Please plan accordingly. (City of Smyrna)
- Cobb County's Mountain View Library will be hosting a free COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic on Nov. 9. The clinic will be offered from 11:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Residents older than five years can receive a vaccination. Appointments are not needed to participate. Please bring an ID, an insurance card, and a vaccine card. (Cobb County)
