Live Near the New Stadium? Apply for Special Event Parking Now

Marietta, GA – Private property owners in Cobb County who want to sell parking spaces during special events can apply for registration as of Dec. 1.

The forms can be downloaded from the county’s Community Development Agency website.

“Cobb County continues to grow at a robust level, particularly in the Cumberland area,” Dana Johnson, Cobb County Community Development director, said in a release. “The county is happy to see private businesses and free enterprise expand; creating jobs, opportunities and profits.”

Here are the Requirements for Completing the Special Event Parking Application in Cobb County.

The first round of letters to property owners who live within a half-mile of the new ballpark were mailed last week. Remaining property owners within that area will get letters next week.

“The new code applies to more than the new home of the Atlanta Braves,” Johnson said. “We encourage any property owner who is interested in selling parking around any of the county’s special events to submit an application for parking registration.”
