Local Brewhouse, Coffee Shop And BBQ Coming To Smyrna

ATLANTA -- Reformation Brewery, Chattahoochee Coffee Company and Grand Champion BBQ are opening new locations at The Eddy at Riverview Landing, a 310-unit luxury apartment community and mixed-use development on the Chattahoochee River. The Eddy, being developed by the Prestwick Companies, will open this summer and provide residents with direct access to the river, coffee shop, brewery and BBQ restaurant. A six-acre park will anchor several outdoor amenities including a riverfront trail, kayak launch, public dock, observation decks and an outdoor music stage.

Reformation Brewery, a craft brewer based Woodstock, will occupy approximately 2,400 square feet of street-level retail space. The company, founded by two former seminary students and taking its namesake from the historic Protestant Reformation of 1517, launched its first location in 2013.

Grand Champion BBQ will accompany Reformation Brewery in the food and beer hall at The Eddy. With locations in Milton, Roswell, Marietta and Krog Street Market, Grand Champion BBQ will occupy approximately 1,300 square feet of space. Since opening its first location in Roswell in 2011, Grand Champion BBQ has been awarded many recognitions such as best beef brisket, macaroni and cheese, and baby back ribs in 2011 from the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, best BBQ runner up in the state in 2013 from Atlanta Magazine, and one of the top 13 BBQ joints in the nation by Zagat in 2015.

Chattahoochee Coffee Company opened in 2012. The Eddy will become the company’s third metro Atlanta store.
