In Loving Memory of Charles Clifton "Jack" Beavers, 87

Charles Clifton “Jack” Beavers, age 87 of Smyrna, passed away Wednesday, December 23. A funeral service will be held 2 pm Wednesday, December 30 in the chapel of Carmichael Funeral Home in Smyrna. Interment will be in Westview Cemetery. Mr. Beavers retired from the City of Atlanta Fire department as a Lieutenant after many years. He was most known as Owner/Operator of Beavers Appliances in Atlanta. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter Erin McKenna Martin. He is survived by his loving wife LaVerne Walker Beavers, son Charles Gregory (Mary) Beavers of Kennesaw, daughters Susan Beavers (Johnny) Morris of Smyrna, Melinda Beavers (Tim) Martin of Alpharetta, grandchildren Zach (Beth) Martin, Megan Morris (Devon) Swim, Tyler Morris, Emily Morris, great grandchildren Xavier and Felicia Martin. The family will receive friends from 5-8 pm Tuesday, December 29 at the funeral home.
