In Loving Memory of Howard Albert Smith, 80

Howard Albert Smith age 80 of Marietta died Sunday July 26, 2015 Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday July 29, 2015 in the Jonquil Chapel of Castellaw Funeral Home with Pastor Durwood Perry officiating. The family will receive friends 6-9 pm Tuesday at the funeral home . Burial will be in Cheatham Hill Memorial Park . A Franklin North Carolina native Mr. Smith retired from the United States Navy with 20 years of service . After retirement he worked as an television technician . He was a member of the Tellico Baptist Church in Franklin , North Carolina ,American Legion Post 160 , Smyrna , Fleet Reserve Association Branch 89 and the National Rifle Association . He is survived by his son , Stephen Alan Smith of Powder Springs , Ga , sister , Ruth Hancock of Merritt Island, Florida and best friend , Donna Smallwood of Dallas , Georgia . 3 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren .
