🌱 Man Arrested For Concealing Death + Crafts & Drafts Dates

Here are the top three stories in Smyrna-Vinings today:

1. A man has been arrested for concealing a woman's death at a Cobb County construction site. Authorities located 40-year-old Amanda Sharpe's body at a construction site off Ivey Road on Friday. Jake Schell, 27, was arrested and charged with concealing the death of another, tampering with evidence, credit card theft, and drug charges. He is being held in the Cobb County Jail without bond. 2. The National Weather Service has included Cobb County in its Freeze Warning. The county will be under the warning through 10:00 a.m. this morning. Temperatures are expected to dip into the high 20s. The freezing temperatures will kill crops and sensitive vegetation along with damaging unprotected outdoor plumbing. (East Cobb News)
3. Smyrna's Crafts & Drafts is growing and changing. The new dates for the festival are Oct. 29 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Oct. 30. from noon to 5:00 p.m. in downtown Smyrna. There will be over 150 Arts & Crafts booths in attendance at the free event. There will also be a Beer Garden serving a variety of draft brews to enjoy while browsing the booths. (City of Smyrna)
