UPDATE: Missing Dog Returned Safely to Owner

Mo, a sweet little dog, had gone missing in the Barnes Mill subdivision on the East-West Connector.

UPDATE on March 24 at 2:20 p.m.: Mo is home safely with his owners after a man found him near a church and called owner Pat Heckert.

"Everyone was so thankful," said Justin Heckert, Pat's son. "That dog was like a child to my parents."

Pat Heckert has lost her beloved dog, Mo. He escaped out of his collar and was last seen in the Barnes Mill subdivision on Fisher Drive.

The subdivision is on the East-West Connector very near the Smyrna-Austell border. Mo is a 5-year-old Lhasa Apso.

"He has white fur all over, but a distinct face," says Justin Heckert, son of Pat. "He looks like he stuck his nose in a chimney and his face got covered with soot. He's white all over, except that face, which is black."
