Here are the top three stories in Smyrna-Vinings today:
- Demetrius Dow, 40, was reportedly trying to get help after he was shot near a Vinings apartment building on Sunday morning. A couple reports the man was banging on their door with his shoe in an attempt to get treatment for a gunshot wound. The couple called the police because they assumed that the man was attempting to gain access to the apartment. If anyone has information about the shooting, please contact the Cobb County Police Department. (Fox 5 Atlanta)
- Three individuals have been arrested for firing airsoft guns at people in a Cobb County park. Dalton Henderson, 19, Arianna McCard, 18, and a 16-year-old are all facing various charges. The incident occurred at Logan Farm Park in Acworth and the individuals shot pellets from the guns. (WSBTV)
- The City of Smyrna has redesigned its website. The new revisions were launched on Wednesday. The city will be integrating new features into the site over the coming weeks and months.
