Glock pistols are being given out as winning prizes in the CrossFit Games now being held in Carson, Calif. But an online petition was launched late last week calling for a cancellation of the partnership between the CrossFit Games and Glock, an Austria-based gun manufacturer whose North American headquarters are based in Smyrna.

Georgia Lottery Raises Record-Breaking $1 Billion in Education

Gov. Nathan Deal announced on Wednesday the Georgia Lottery Corp. transferred its fiscal year 2016 profits -- $1.09 billion -- to the state lottery treasury.
This is the first time the Georgia Lottery has transferred more than $1 billion in a single fiscal year and is the largest funding transfer in the 23-year history of the lottery. >>>Read more.
