Police Arrest Third Suspect in Couple's Cobb Killing

Investigators believe the killing was the result of a drug deal gone bad.

Police in Powder Springs have arrested a third suspect in a double homicide which left a three-year-old girl without her parents.

Raymond Ladell Webb, 41, was arrested on Aug. 30 and charged with concealing the death of another, hindering apprehension of a criminal, and drug charges, Cobb County jail records show. A police warrant obtained by WSB-TV claims that Webb was responsible for setting up a drug deal which led to the deaths of Anthony and Catherine Costner on Aug. 6. The Costners’ daughter was in the car at the time of the killings.

The warrant goes on to say that Webb then drove a wounded suspect to a hospital far away from the scene and left him there without notifying police, WSB-TV says.
