Police ID Fourth Suspect In Cumberland Mall Shooting

Michael Golden dropped his cell phone at the scene of the Cumberland Mall shooting. Police found it, and now he's a suspect in the case.

COBB COUNTY, GA — Cobb County Police Department officers are searching for a fourth suspect in the March 23 shooting outside Cumberland Mall that injured four people, including a 6-year-old child, after police found the suspect's dropped cell phone at the scene.

Michael L. Golden is wanted on four felony charges of aggravated assault with intent to murder, according to an arrest warrant. He is accused of jumping out of a moving SUV — a Dodge Durango — and firing a gun several times, shooting at each of the four victims. He then got back into the car and drove off.

The arrest warrant said police identified Golden after they executed a search warrant on a cell phone found at the scene, and through social media searches.
