Here are the top three stories today in Smyrna-Vinings:

1. The Cobb County Police Department has identified the individual that was fatally shot on Sunday morning in Vinings. According to the department, Demetrius Dow, 40 years old, died at 2800 Paces Ferry Road from gunshot wounds. The department is continuing its investigation into the homicide. (Cobb County Courier)
2. Arrest warrants for Cobb County's Merilyn Enow, 35 years old, have been issued for insurance fraud and forgery charges. The announcement was made by Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner John F. King on Monday. An investigation uncovered that Enow forged her employer's signature on wage loss claim documents. (OCI)
3. The Cobb County School District is still facing a bus driver shortage. The county approved $1,200 bonuses for drivers, but there is still a shortage of about 200 drivers. This is not just a local issue, however. The ongoing bus driver shortage is affecting about 88 percent of the country's schools. (AXIOS)
