Three candidates are in the running for the office of mayor; incumbent Max Bacon, former councilman Wade Lnenicka, and Alex Backry. Lnenicka and Backry debated one another at an event last week. Bacon did not attend, causing some criticism. Lnenicka also drew criticism for organizing the debate and possibly not giving Bacon enough lead time to make the debate.
