  1. Smyrna residents can now report city issues via the Smyrna 311 mobile app. The website's paths for reporting are now linked to Smyrna 311, available in the app store for iOS devices. Residents can still use the city website to report issues like potholes, traffic signal problems, stray animals, and more. (City of Smyrna, GA Government via Facebook)
  2. Friends of Smyrna Library volunteers sorted and boxed 2,100 books for the library's next summer book sale. The event is scheduled for Aug. 27 and 28, and will primarily feature books for children and young adults. Proceeds from the sale will go toward a new Wonderbook Collection for Youth Services.   3. Registration is now open for the 2022 Greater Atlanta Heart Walk. Over 7,500 residents of the Atlanta metro are expected to come out for the event on Saturday, Sep. 10 at 8:30 a.m. at the Battery Atlanta.
