Smyrna-Area Waffle House Robbed at Gunpoint
The robber took money from the open cash drawer and fled the scene on foot, police said.

Cobb County police are looking for the man who robbed a Smyrna-area Waffle House at gunpoint early Tuesday morning.
Investigators say an armed man entered the restaurant at 4458 Atlanta Road at 3:46 a.m. and immediately demanded money from store employees. The robber took an undisclosed amount of money from the open cash drawer and fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction.
Police describe the robber as a white or possible a light skinned black male who stands approximately 6 feet tall. He was last seen wearing dark pants, black gloves, a black mask and a grey hooded sweatshirt.

There were no injuries during this armed robbery and anyone with information about this incident is asked to call police at (770) 499-3945.
