  1. Smyrna Bright Nights will be returning on Monday, Dec. 5. The event features an interactive map of homes that will display local holiday lights.   2. Cobb Chamber's Cobb Young Professionals will be hosting its holiday social on Thursday, Dec. 8. The holiday social's theme will be "Casino Night."   3. Cobb County Police Chief Stuart Vanhoozer reports that the department is trying to be proactive about gang youth violence. Multiple Atlanta area departments are dealing with an increase in gang violence. The Cobb County Police Department has dedicated an entire unit to preventing and addressing the issue. The unit is investigating several cases while spending time in county schools to try to keep children on the right path. (WSBTV)
