Smyrna Chevron Robbed Friday Night

According to Cobb police, a Smyrna-area convenience store was robbed at gunpoint late Friday night.

The crime occurred at the Chevron, located at 3601 Atlanta Road at the intersection of Paces Ferry Road.

According to Officer Mike Bowman, a black male in his mid-to-late 20s entered the store around 10:45 p.m. Armed with a handgun, he ordered the clerk to open the cash drawer and then he then took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the premises on foot.

There were no injuries reported.

The perpetrator was described as standing approximately 5-foot-8 with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie and black pants.
