Smyrna Invites Residents To Celebrate Arbor Day
Sunday's festivities include children's activities, a tree-planting and presentation.

SMYRNA, GA -- Smyrna residents are invited to the city's Arbor Day celebration on Saturday.
The festivities will begin at 10 a.m. at Brawner Hall. The celebration will take place in the building's South Wing, the city said.
Attendees will be treated to a "Tree Care" presentation by Joe Burges, senior urban forester with the Georgia Forestry Commission. Lunch and a tree-planting demonstration is also on tap.

There is no admission to the event, but the city asks potential attendees to RSVP by calling 770-431-2863.
