Smyrna Murder Suspect Dies In Arizona Police Custody
Terrill Jones, 32, was wanted for murder in connection with a Smyrna shopping center shooting. He died Monday while being arrested.
SMYRNA, GA — A man wanted for murder in connection with a Smyrna shopping center shooting has died in Arizona, according to police.
Terrill Anton Jones, 32, was wanted for felony murder and other charges in connection to the May 16th shooting. Jones shot and killed Micahel Ezzard, 22, at the Five Points shopping center on the 1600 block of Roswell Street, according to investigators.
Jones was found in Pima, Arizona and died Monday as officers attempted to take him into custody, police said.

Details on how he died haven’t been released, but KVOA-TV reported that witnesses saw officers use a Taser on Jones and that he was "foaming at the mouth" before his arrest.
Smyrna police said they will release more information as it becomes available.

Ezzard’s family created a GoFundMe page to help raise money for a cash reward for Jones’ arrest. The family told WSB-TV that instead they’ll put it toward a scholarship and create a nonprofit against gun violence in his name.
