Smyrna Police Officer Injured While Arresting Suspect
Police were attempting to arrest a man on felony drug charges when he grabbed one of the officer's Tasers.

SMYRNA, GA -- A veteran Smyrna police officer was injured Monday morning while arresting a suspect. According to police, the incident happened outside a Burbank Circle home when the officer was attempting to arrest Mark Anthony Antunez, 20, on drug charges. Police said Antunez resisted the arrest and grabbed a Taser from the officer's partner and then discharged it.
The Taser hit the officer twice.
Antunez is facing several charges including obstruction and aggravated assault of an officer.
