Public Meeting On South Cobb Drive Corridor Thursday Night in Smyrna

Development study will look at concepts to improve major thoroughfare.

SMYRNA, GA -- Smyrna residents are invited to attend a public study on the South Cobb Drive Corridor on Thursday evening at City Hall.

The study will focus on proposed improvements for South Cobb Drive from Concord Road to Windy Hill Road, according to Smyrna’s website.

City officials have been soliciting the public's opinion in recent months on how to improve streets around SunTrust Park, the new home of the Atlanta Braves.

The corridor study is being coordinated by the city of Smyrna along with Cobb County and Cobb LINC, the county’s bus service.

The event will be held from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. at City Hall.
