Two Cobb Men Arrested In Metro Prostitution Sting
Police in Dunwoody have announced that 13 more people arrested in connection with a sex ring run in the city, including 2 men from Cobb.

SMYRNA, GA -- More people have been arrested in a wide-ranging sex sting centered in Dunwoody, the city's police department announced Tuesday. Law enforcement has arrested 13 more people, including two from Cobb County, in the sweeping investigation into two prostitution rings that were broken up earlier this year.
In January, Dunwoody officials announced the arrest of more than 50 people connected to two prostitution businesses that were being run from an apartment complex in Dunwoody and Atlanta. One of the escort services even operated across the street from the headquarters of the Dunwoody Police Department.

Among those arrested in the sting was former Gwinnett County Assistant District Attorney Christopher Quinn, who lost his job after the incident. Dunwoody officials said that more arrests were likely to come from their investigation.

- David Wang of Cumming
Another suspect, Clifton Moncrief of Macon, is not in custody, police said.
Metro Atlanta law enforcement agencies have teamed up in the investigation to shut down the escort services -- the “Gold Club” and “Lipstick and Shoes." Those arrested in the January sting included 29 women for prostitution, 19 men for pandering and three people for pimping, Dunwoody police said.
In a sign of how widespread the illicit operations were, investigators said that more arrests are forthcoming.
