- The Vinings Library in Cobb County is reopening today, Jan. 23, after being closed for repairs due to a pipe burst caused by a cold snap in late December. The library staff has been operating from other branches during the repairs, and the property management team has been working to fix the damage. The Vinings library is located at 4290 Paces Ferry Road. (The Georgia Sun)
- The next Smyrna Joint Town Hall for Wards 3 and 6 will be held tomorrow, Jan. 24, from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Smyrna Community Center's Magnolia Room. The schedule of the meeting will include City Staff Updates with presentations by City Administrator Joseph Bennett, Smyrna Police Chief Keith Zgonc, Smyrna Fire Chief Brian Marcos, Community Development Rusty Martin, and Engineering/Traffic Eric Randall/Ashley White.
