His move comes amid a wave of Tigers departures, including top lineman Carius Curne to Ole Miss and versatile offensive player Ju’Juan Johnson to Syracuse. Braker was a four-star recruit and one of Georgia’s top linebackers.
   

• JUST IN: Democrat Lawmaker Indicted On Fraud Charges (trendingpoliticsnews.com) — A former state representative whose district includes parts of Snellville has been indicted on a federal charge of making false statements to obtain pandemic unemployment benefits. Prosecutors say Karen Bennett improperly collected nearly $14,000 by misrepresenting how COVID-19 affected her therapy business, while she maintains her innocence after pleading not guilty. The case follows similar fraud charges against another Georgia lawmaker.
