7 Theft-related Crimes Reported in Mableton This Week, Jan. 5-12

, Lt. James Bullock said the South Cobb precinct had received 45,000 service calls from January through September in 2011.

Detective Sgt. Jorge Mestre also showed that the residential burglary is the top theft crime affecting South Cobb . There are about 80 burglaries occurring each month, including the other area the precinct serves in Powder Springs.

Theft-related crimes in South Cobb were down about 13 percent in September from 2010.

• Theft of vehicle/automobile at 6862 Mableton Parkway
• Theft of other vehicles att 381 Lee Road
• Theft by taking at 5590 Mableton Parkway

Jan. 6

• Hit and Run at 5907 Lone Oak and Garner Road

Jan. 7

• Burglary of residence, forced entry at 7015 Gallant Circle

Jan. 9

• Theft of vehicle/automobile at 485 Ivey Court

Jan. 11

• Burglary of residence, forced entry at 30 Cooper Lake Road
• Burglary of residence, no forced entry at 222 Sweetwater Circle
