• FedEx Building Evacuated Due To Cobb Fire (patch.com) — South Cobb residents may notice lingering smoke after a Monday morning fire at the FedEx facility on Factory Shoals Road in Austell, which forced an evacuation. Fire crews say the blaze started in a small exterior structure but affected the main building with heat and smoke before being extinguished, and investigators are still working to determine the cause and whether anyone was injured.
