Superintendent Dr. Michael Hinojosa recently met for the first time with two newly formed panels of key stakeholders. The Teacher Advisory Council is comprised of 18 teachers from throughout the District who will share educators’ perspectives, ideas and voices on important issues with the superintendent.
Cobb business owners, community leaders and civic group representatives make up the Superintendent’s Business & Community Advisory Committee. Dr. Hinojosa will engage these local partners in long-term planning efforts and strengthening relationships between Cobb schools and the community.
Both teams were initiated as part of the District’s strategic outreach plan to improve two-way communication with the people who impact and support public education in Cobb County.
