Blaze Burns Cobb Church, Partly Collapses Roof
Firefighters were called to the scene Monday night but were still tending to the fire until at least Tuesday morning, media reports say.
AUSTELL, GA — A massive fire ripped through an Austell church's sanctuary, causing its roof to partially falter, overnight, according to media reports.
The fire burned at Eagles Chapel International Ministries located in the 3100 block of Joe Jerkins Boulevard, both WXIA and WAGA reported. The church is also known as Prayer City Eagles Chapel International Ministries.
Firefighters were called to the scene around 9 p.m. Monday; however, crews remained on scene until at least 6 a.m. Tuesday tending to the fire, reports say.

Austell Fire Chief Brandon Merritt told Patch there were no injuries, and the cause of the fire is being investigated.
