Cobb Schools Get Respite, But Warmer Temps On Way
Classes canceled again as snow and ice remain a concern, but thats' changing soon.
EAST COBB, GA -- Schools remain closed Tuesday in Cobb County as patches of snow and ice remain on roadways, making it too dangerous for buses and parents to trek their children to classes. The precipitation that didn't materialize in Atlanta actually brought small accumulations of snow to its western suburbs.
Cobb students better enjoy the time off: It's coming to an end.
Temperatures Tuesday are expected to climb into the mid-50s with lows in the low 40s. The rest of the week will warm up significantly with temperatures hovering around 70 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.
