Couple Tied Up During Mableton Home Invasion

About five men tied up a couple during a late-night home invasion in Mableton on Tuesday.

Update at 11:39 a.m.

The suspects are black men who were all armed with handguns, according to a release from Cobb police. They each had their faces covered and wore black clothing.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call Cobb police at (770) 499-3945.

At approximately 8 p.m. on Tuesday, four to five men forced their way into a home on Collins Lake Way.

The couple in the home was ordered to the ground at gunpoint and told not to move, Officer Mike Bowman, spokesman for Cobb Police, stated.

The suspects not watching the victims ransacked and took several items of value, including cash, Cobb police stated.

The victims were not injured, Bowman stated in an email to South Cobb Patch.
