Fishermen Discover Body in Chattahoochee

Cobb County police are asking for the public’s help to identify a body two fly fishermen discovered in the Chattahoochee River near an Akers Mill apartment complex around 7:30 a.m. Wednesday morning. The Crimes Against Persons Unit is investigating the case, as it’s believed to be a homicide.

Police describe the victim as a black male about 5’10” with numerous tattoos. Cobb County’s Public Information Officer Dana Pierce said the body is too badly decomposed to offer any other details about the victim’s features.

Wife Charged in Murder of Husband

Andrea Sneiderman was arrested Thursday morning without incident,and transported to DeKalb County to face a multitude of charges in the death of her husband, Rusty Sneiderman.

Sneiderman was taken into custody Thursday morning, according to the DeKalb County's District Attorney's Office.

Sneiderman was a key figure in the trial of Hemy Neuman, her former boss at GE Energy in Marrietta, who was convicted in March of killing her husband, Rusty Sneiderman.
