Public Invited to Review Six Flags LCI Draft Recommendations

The has been completed and the report of findings and recommendations were presented to the Cobb Board of Commissioners on March 27.
The draft of recommendations for improvements to the Six Flags area are now available for public review and comment. Stantec, the consulting firm hired to conduct the study, has synthesized and implemented feedback received from the BOC about the study's findings to create the draft.
Stantec , like a mixed-use town center and grocery store, as a result of citizen input and approximately five months of research of the study area to discover needed amenities and improvements which are feasible and can be implemented in both the short and long run.

The Cobb Department of Transportation and the planning team will host an open house on April 12 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the to receive feedback and input from community members.
Download the study at www.dot.cobbcountyga.gov and copies are also available for review at various locations through April 30.

The BOC will vote to officially adopt the plan following the open house and review period, and the area will be eligible for specific funding from the Atlanta Regional Commission, which funded $100,000 of the study with an additional $25,000 coming from the county.
