Report: Hit-and-Run Driver Strikes Officer on East-West Connector
He was responding to a fatal crash.
Police are searching for a hit-and-run driver who struck a motorcycle officer as he was in en route to a fatal crash along the East-West Connector.
The officer was hit at the intersection of the East-West Connector and Floyd Road, near the scene of the single-vehicle accident at the intersection of the East-West Connector and Fontaine Road, according to WSB-TV.
The officer was taken to WellStar Kennestone Hospital, according to WSB-TV.
