Windy Hill Road Project Begins This Weekend

Drivers are advised to take alternate routes through the week from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

SOUTH COBB, GA -- Traffic is going to be affected this weekend on Windy Hill Road at the Interstate 75 overpass as road crews install walls and a sidewalk in the center of the roadway, county officials announced Wednesday.

Drivers are being advised to use alternate routes to avoid traffic as the work continues through the week from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., the county said.

Once the work is complete, the eastbound lanes of Windy Hill will shift to the right a bit, allowing two through lanes and one left turning lane for access to Interstate 75 North.
