Arrests Made in Prostitution Sting at Lithonia Motel

A DeKalb County Vice Unit's prostitution sting at the Economy Lodge in Lithonia resulted in arrests for pimping and prostitution last week.

On March 28, an undercover detective called a woman known as "Diamond" who had advertised on a social website as a female escort. She appeared "partially dressed and posing in lewd positions" in the ad, the incident report states.

After telling the detective she charged $100 an hour, she suggested inviting someone else, according to the report:

The female then advised she would take part in a (2) two girl special with an additional girl who would want to be paid $100.00.

The woman sent photos of the two of them to the detective's DeKalb county cell phone and told him she was at the Economy Lodge, 6707 Millwood Ln., near Evans Mill Rd. and I-20.

The woman, 18, agreed to the detective bringing along someone he called his cousin -- another detective -- whom she said would also have to pay $200.

The detectives met the women at the motel. The report states that after receiving $200 from one of the detectives (from DeKalb county investigative funds), the woman who identified herself as "Diamond" completely undressed and advised the other woman, also 18, to do so.

The other detective -- the "cousin" --  gave $100 from the county's investigative funds and asked what was off-limits.

According to the report: "Both females advised nothing was off limits."

The women began performing sexual acts on each other, and one requested the remaining $100. "Diamond" told the men it was OK to videotape them, which was done on the county-issued cell phone of one of the detectives.

According to the report, one of the detectives then called a uniformed police officer to the room, and members of the DeKalb county Vice Unit responded and took the women into custody.

The women were taken to the DeKalb county jail without incident, the report states. "Diamond" was arrested for pimping and prostitution, the other woman for prostitution.
