Two of the candidates in today's municipal elections were spotted this afternoon near a polling station at the Champion School, waving at passers-by.
"People have been really nice, waving right back and wishing us luck," said Andrea Redmond, who is running for City Council Post 6.
With her is mayoral candidate Cyril Mungal, who arrived at this street corner at 7 a.m. and plans to stick around until after the polls close this evening.
Mungal's only complaint is that a county code compliance officer has been yanking up campaign signs and throwing them in the back of his pickup truck.
