“This is one of the most exciting things I’ve planned,” said Commissioner Cochran-Johnson in the news release. “I have a long history of working alongside Ms. Coward and the school system as a former PTA president of three schools. Our fall festivals were always amazing. I look forward to hosting this event annually, because our children need an event with fanfare and love that brings communities together.”

The DeKalb County 2021 Fall Festival will feature basic health information and screenings provided by Kids'-Doc-On-Wheels, as well as free toothbrushes and information on proper hygiene and personal care for children provided by Help A Child Smile. Additionally, CORE Response will provide free COVID-19 vaccinations and the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office will meet and greet attendees.
