Election Day 2021 In Stonecrest: When, Where To Vote

Stonecrest voters will decide on the City Council District 1 seat in the Nov. 30 runoff election.

STONECREST, GA — The Nov. 30 runoff election is here in Stonecrest, and voters have already begun submitting ballots. Voters will decide on races for Stonecrest City Council for the District 1 seat.

Incumbent Jimmy Clanton Jr. is being challenged by qualifying candidate Tara Graves.

This is Graves first time seeking public office and she led the Nov. 2 race with 41.94 percent of votes; Clanton followed with 37.68 percent, according to unofficial preliminary results released by DeKalb County elections officials.

The polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Registered voters must cast their ballot at their designated precinct.They can use the MyVoterPage website to find Election Day polling locations.

To vote in person you will need to show ID. There are six acceptable forms of photo ID:

  • Georgia Driver's License, even if expired
  • Valid ID issued by any state or the Federal Government
  • Valid employee ID issued by the Federal Government, the State of Georgia, or a county, city, or other government entity of Georgia
  • Valid US passport
  • Valid US military ID
  • Valid tribal ID
