ICYMI: Man Arrested In Stone Mountain Charged In Girlfriend's Slaying
Jesse Bodie, 33, is charged with murder, aggravated assault and terroristic threats in relation to the slaying of Vera Tulbure in Gwinnett.
STONE MOUNTAIN, GA -- A Gwinnett County man who was captured in Stone Mountain during an investigation into the death of his girlfriend was out on bond when he allegedly committed the act, the Gwinnett County Sheriff's Office said Thursday. Jesse Bodie, 33, is charged with murder, aggravated assault and terroristic threats in relation to the slaying of Vera Tulbure.

Bodie was taken into custody this week at a Kroger on Rockbridge Road in Stone Mountain. He is also facing child cruelty charges in an unrelated case, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Tulbure and Bodie were dating about a year, according to Gwinnett police. The couple have no children together.
