Police Search for Gunman Who Shot Man Outside Walmart

LITHONIA, GA -- DeKalb County police on Monday are still looking for the gunman who shot a man outside a crowded Walmart the day before.

The gunman fled after shooting the man in the back outside the store at 5401 Fairington Road, police said.

Chaos ensued inside the store when shoppers were alerted that there was a shooting in the parking lot, according to WSB-TV.

“Once the victim collapsed in front of the store, it got kind of hectic,” DeKalb County police Lt. C.D. Swain told WSB.
