Stone Mountain Student Joins Centenary College

Christopher Jones, from Stone Mountain, has joined Centenary College in Louisiana as a first-year student for the fall semester. Jones arrived on campus Aug. 16 for orientation, becoming a member of the Class of 2017.

First-year students get to experience and help shape Centenary's World Houses, each a residence with a common purpose where students explore some of the world's greatest needs. On Aug. 19, World House students joined three Shreveport-area community organizations for a day of service before their classes began.
