Stonecrest library branch, at 3123 Klondike Rd. in Lithonia, will have a Black History Family Feud from 2-4 p.m. for ages 5-17 years. This free event is open to the first 20 participants. Families welcome. Phone: 770.482.3828.

The movie "Pitch Perfect" (rated PG-13) is playing at Stone Mountain-Sue Kellogg library, 952 Leon St. in the city of Stone Mountain, from 2-3:30 p.m. For ages 18 and up. The event is free. Phone: 770.413.2020

African-American Read-in Celebration is from noon-2 p.m. at Mall at Stonecrest in Lithonia.

Also at the Mall at Stonecrest: "Pink Goes Red on the Runway- Getting to the Heart of the Matter" at 2 p.m. The Chi Tau Omega chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority takes heart disease awareness to the runway.

A Healthy Cooking Demo will take place at the Davidson-Arabia Mountain Nature Preserve, 3787 Klondike Rd. in Lithonia, from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. The demo is free. Phone: 770-484-3060

Free Aerobic workout at Davidson-Arabia Nature Preserve, 3787 Klondike Rd. in Lithonia, from 12-1:30 p.m. Bring a water bottle and a mat and meet in the nature center classroom.

Sunday, Feb. 10

Interpretive and recreational hiking with Ranger Robby at the Davidson-Arabia Mountain Nature Preserve from 8-11 a.m. Bring water and sturdy hiking shoes. This program is free.
