Saturday, Feb. 16

>The Stone Mountain Historic Society presents "" a sock hop at the Rock Gym in Stone Mountain city, located at the corner of Mimosa St. and Ridge Ave. Tickets at the door are $25 for one or $40 for two.

>Hairston Crossing Library, 4911 Redan Rd. in Stone Mountain, will play the movie "Brave" (rated PG) from 2-4 p.m. For families.

> "Pitch Perfect" (rated PG-13) plays at Stonecrest Library, 3123 Klondike Rd. in Lithonia, from 2-3:30 p.m. For ages 18 and up.

> Rainforest Golf in Stone Mountain reopens at noon (weather permitting) after a brief winter break. Rainforest is located at 5500 Bermuda Road.

Sunday, Feb. 17

> Interpretive and Recreational Hiking with Ranger Robby takes place at Davidson-Arabia Mountain Nature Preserve from 8-11 a.m.

Monday, Feb. 18 (Presidents Day - DeKalb county schools will be closed)

>This is the last day for Snow Mountain at Stone Mountain Park.
