SUWANEE, GA — An authorized construction worker at Collins High School was mistaken for a trespasser Thursday, prompting a police presence at the school.

Gwinnett County Police said officers had begun clearing the high school after being alerted to the scene. No children were in danger.

Police did not provide further details.
