• Georgia lands 21 cross country and track signees (redandblack.com) — Suwanee distance standout Jameson Pifer is joining the University of Georgia track and cross country teams after clocking 4:05 in the mile and 8:57 in the 3,200 at Collins Hill High School. He’s part of a 21-athlete signing class that brings sprinters, jumpers, hurdlers, throwers, and international talent to strengthen Georgia’s depth across events.
   

• Mislabeling Leads To Recall Of Breaded Chicken Shipped Nationwide (dailyvoice.com) — Suzanna’s Kitchen in Suwanee is recalling about 62,550 pounds of fully cooked, bone-in breaded chicken because soy wasn’t listed on the labels. The product went to restaurants nationwide, so Suwanee diners and business owners should double-check inventory and ingredients, discard affected cases, and contact the company or USDA hotline with questions about potential allergic reactions.
   

• More Than 60,000 Pounds of Chicken Recalled Nationwide Over Safety Concerns (parade.com) — A Suwanee-based producer, Suzanna’s Kitchen, has recalled nearly 63,000 pounds of fully cooked, bone-in breaded chicken after allergen-free labels were mistakenly used on products that contain soy. The chicken was shipped to restaurants nationwide, so Suwanee residents dining out should be aware and ask about ingredients, especially if they have soy allergies, while officials continue investigating and posting distribution details online.
