• More than 31 tons of breaded chicken recalled because of undeclared soy (foodsafetynews.com) — A Suwanee-based producer, Suzanna’s Kitchen, is recalling over 62,000 pounds of fully cooked, bone-in breaded chicken because the labels don’t warn that the product contains soy, a serious allergen. The affected 18-pound cases were shipped to restaurants nationwide, so local diners and restaurant owners should check supplies and discard any matching packages to protect soy-sensitive customers.
