Suwanee Resident Publishes The Joro Spider Journal: The Blue Book
Photos and Quotes Highlighting Infamous Spider's Beauty

“I wanted to celebrate the Joro spider. What better way than through pictures?” said Anthony Trendl about his new book, The Joro Spider Journal: The Blue Book
There are 50 gorgeous pictures with 50 amazing quotes from poetry, rock music, classic literature, and beyond.
“My goal was to highlight the grace, colors, passion, and beauty of this spider. We don't often get to look at a spider close up. Although the Joro spider is not dangerous, getting close enough to take a photo can be a logistical challenge.”

Trendl explained how the spider is often found high up or in difficult to reach places. As ever present as they seem to be in late summer, they don't always cooperate and pose nicely for a picture.
“I tried to show them from as many angles as possible. Each has their own nuance and color,” Trendl continued.
This isn't an ordinary journal, he said. It is useful as writing prompt, artistic inspiration, and discussion with a friend who loves nature.

It is a beautifully photographed look at the Joro spider with quotes from David Bowie, Lord Byron, the Bible, Charles Dickens, and others.
What should readers do? "Look, read, consider, and write!" said Trendl with joy.
