Woman Arrested Who Shot At School Bus With Children Inside: Police
A school bus headed to Riverside Elementary School in Suwanee was shot at Monday morning, according to Gwinnett County police.
SUWANEE, GA — Gwinnett County police have a suspect in custody who is accused of shooting at a school bus Monday morning, according to Gwinnett County Public Schools.
The incident happened around 7:30 a.m. in the area of Johnson Road and Highland Gate Drive, according to police. No children were injured and arrived safely to school after the shooting, Chief Communications Officer for Gwinnett County Public Schools Melissa Laramie told Patch.
The school bus was headed to Riverside Elementary School in Suwanee, Laramie said.

"We have an increased presence of officers on site today to ensure all of our students, families, and staff feel safe as we continue to focus on teaching and learning as well as the mental and physical well-being of our students and staff," she said in a statement.
The school bus driver suffered minor injuries from shattered glass, police said. They arrested a woman, but have not released any details about the shooter.
